AIANZ in the Media Post-Conference

The 2025 AIANZ Conference was a resounding success, with a highlight being the release of the Government’s Aviation Action Plan. Hon James Meager, Assoc Minister of Transport, announced the Aviation Action Plan during his keynote address on Tuesday morning. 

The media has reported extensively on this new plan, consulting AIANZ CE Simon Wallace for expert opinion and analysis. CE Simon Wallace also appeared on TVNZ Breakfast on Wednesday 17th September. He addressed the Government’s plan to reduce pilot training time.
